These guys have done a lot of work on my jeep since I moved to Kansas. They’re always fair with pricing and honest with their time estimates. They also consistently call with updates when necessary which is great. I recently had an issue where they replaced 2 bolts and 3 nuts on my car, and later when I put winter tires on, I discovered that one of the bolts was cross threaded. We really couldn’t tell if it was damaged in the shop or if it was an already damaged part of the previous issue (which could’ve easily been the case), but the manager was kind enough to give me the benefit of the doubt and replaced all 5 bolts with no charge for labor (just parts)!! I never leave reviews like this, but seeing as the shop just rebranded and given the excellent service I’ve received there, I feel it’s the least they deserve. Great shop!

I would just like to take a minute and highlight one the team members. CJ, who works at the Peterson store has performed a large number of maintenance items on my Chevy. I have received nothing but stellar service from CJ. I would like to point out one instance in particular:

I had burned out a head light bulb plug. I was unsure how far down to cut the wire in order to replace the plug. CJ stopped what he was doing at your front desk and came outside and showed me how to do it. He changed the first bulb plug and walked me through changing the second one myself. He refused to let me pay for anything at all, even though I tried a few times.

I had the shocks replaced on my truck. One of the rear shocks came loose during a trip. I got it some what fixed, enough to get back home to CO. I brought my truck in the next day and CJ apologized profusely and fixed it on the spot. In addition to him fixing it, he checked the other shock and the front struts just to make sure everything was in order.

I continually tell people I am impressed with the service I receive from your shop and CJ is the reason why I try my best to send people your way!

Kwik Kar located on Peterson AFB happens to be miles above any competitor that I’ve ever had the displeasure of doing business with. This establishment was actually fun to go to. The personnel that work there seem to be really knowledgeable and passionate about working on automobiles. The technicians were very forthcoming with every detail as to what was wrong with my vehicle. The managers were very understanding with the fact that I wasn’t able to have all of the identified work completed at that time. They even went so far to prioritize what needed to be completed immediately and stuff that could wait. It’s really nice to have a place that happens to be on base that the personnel actually care about giving not only great service but a quality experience as well. As long as I’m stationed here these are the only people that I’m letting touch any of my vehicles.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2001 VW Bug which was in need of some repair work to the windshield washer sprayers…they simply didn’t work. Since this is my wife’s car, you can only imagine how far a dirty windshield goes. After meeting Katie, she and her team immediately attacked the issue and provided me with both a high cost and a low cost fix. There wasn’t any gouging or additional hidden costs – pain, upfront pricing. Katie was also able to acquire enough hose, install it, and close the hood in under an hour. Absolutely amazing!

There aren’t many car repair locations downtown who still provide honest work; but the feeling of being comfortable and trusting your mechanic are number one in my book. Thank you for providing such a trained, qualified, and friendly staff to your Peterson AFB location. I will most certainly use your location in the future and will also be absolutely sure to tell everyone I know of the superior services you provide.
